With group chat all members of a VIA3 meeting can send and receive public text messages, which means late arrivals can quickly get up to speed without
disrupting the meeting. Chat sessions are automatically saved in the meeting history and at any time individual users can save and reference their IM
exchanges outside of a meeting.
