Other conferencing providers require separate telephone connections; you get billed for both long distance and conference calls. With a standard off-the-shelf computer headset, conference room or desktop speakers, the audio feature of VIA3® enables you to hear other meeting members using near CD-quality audio delivered over the Internet. This means there are no additional charges for conference calls or separate phone connections to coordinate, since you no longer need the telephone to hear others in your VIA3 meeting.
VIA3 offers advanced audio features such as echo cancellation, noise reduction, automatic gain control, dehowling and a real-time visual indication of who is speaking in your meeting. Your meeting experience is enhanced because unwanted sounds and echoes are prevented and the volume levels are automatically adjusted. Visual cues indicate who is speaking at any given time.
VIA3 optimizes the audio stream based on a meeting participant’s connection speed to ensure the highest quality audio. You can start and stop the transmission of your own audio or some or all of the other participants in a meeting. You can even adjust the volume for individual meeting members or the overall meeting volume.
