Sharing/Viewing/Editing
Live View in VIA3 is an application viewing tool that has the additional
capability of enabling application sharing. Demonstrate a new software
application, review a website with a group of people, show a file from an
application that is loaded only on your computer, or even view a complex
engineering drawing with the Live View feature in VIA3. You can allow the
other meeting participants to view your full screen, a region of it, or
even a specific application. Participants can watch in real time as you
open files, make changes, link to different web pages and more.
The Viewing capability allows meeting participants to show anything that may
be open on their desktop to others in the meeting. The Sharing capability
not only allows another meeting participant to view what is on a participant’s
desktop, but also control it remotely when given permission.
Fully secure application sharing as part of VIA3 Live View helps you reduce
the time and frustration it takes to review or finalize any type of files
that require input from others. Meeting participants can share any software
application or just a portion of their screen. For training or troubleshooting
purposes, you can grant temporary control of your entire desktop to trusted
coworkers, with the ability to take back control at any time.
VIA3 instant messaging also has private file sharing built in so that you can
send any file to another user. You can also share files outside of meetings
using workspaces.
