VIA3 instant messaging is created on a security platform that was built from the ground up with multiple layers of security and end-to-end encryption. VIA3 encrypts the message before it leaves your computer so that it’s scrambled using approved FIPS-140-2 processing. VIA3 then decrypts the information at the computer of the intended recipient so that no one else can view your messages. In addition, VIA3 IM gives you the option to securely save, search and retrieve instant messages for quick reference or auditing purposes.

With meeting chat all members of a VIA3 meeting can send and receive text messages, which means late arrivals can quickly get up to speed without disrupting the meeting. Meeting Chat sessions are automatically saved in a meeting history where users can review their Chat exchanges outside of a meeting.
